Events

We held the first smart car rally in Idaho on Earth Day, April 22, 2007.  Four smart cars attended, with three from Boise and one from Idaho Falls.  The changing image at the top of this site shows a few of our pictures.  We have had a few other gatherings in the Boise area since then.

Calendar of Events:

  • May 16, 2008 - May in Motion, 7am-1pm, 8th St and Bannock, Boise - We had a smart cars on display at this event again this year, the third year in a row.
  • May 22, 2008 - smart car club of Idaho gathering, 6:30pm - 8:00pm, Sonic Drive-In, Orchard and Emerald Streets, Boise - We had 11 smart cars gathered for this event!
  • July 4-6, 2008 - Two of our members attended Northwest Motorfest in Boise.
  • August 24, 2008 - smart car club of Idaho Cruise-In, 4:00pm - 5:30pm, Sonic Drive-In, 2145 Broadway Avenue, Boise. This was also a planning meeting for the Mountain Home Air Force Appreciation Day parade.
  • September 6, 2008 - Three of our smart car members entered in Mountain Home Air Force Appreciation Day parade.
  • November 29, 2008 - Watch for us in the Boise Holiday Parade, as seven smart cars plan to be in the parade!
